Loosely based on Alfonso Sabella’s book “CACCIATORE DI MAFIOSI” (Published by Mondadori)

The Hunter is a crime series, inspired by the true story of Alfonso Sabella, in fiction Saverio Barone, the prosecutor who in the 1990s, sent to jail some of the most dangerous and cruel bosses of the modern Sicilian Mafia, such as Leoluca Bagarella and Giovanni Brusca. This, however, is not a simple investigative story; rather, it is a dramatic series centered on a character with a complex personality, a true bloodhound, a hunter who stops at nothing, a man willing to sacrifice everything; his family, his friends and the chance of a normal life, all in the name of justice, his greatest obsession.
