We are in Bolzano, Italy. And yet those who arrive for the first time in the city are convinced that they are in Germany. Street signs are written in German, some people don’t understand you if you ask for information, you even need to pass a German language exam if you want to access public offices. The same citizens are split in two: on one side the Germans, precise, rigorous and wealthy; on the other side the Italians, noisy, warm and burini.

But the discovery of a corpse forces Eva, a young and rampaging PM of German culture, to work side by side with Paolo, an inspector of Italian origin, born and raised in Bolzano. Both represent exactly the stereotype of their own culture and tradition. But are they really the cold and cynical expression of their cultures or are these just simple prejudices? The forced frequentation will lead Eva and Paolo to discover themselves different from what they think, becoming a solid investigative couple and not only…
